The study of the singular bifurcation of a 3D dynamical system of interest in ecology

The classical bifurcations that occur in the SIR system were already studied in many papers. Our attention is focused on the singular bifurcations, when the system has in infinite number of periodic points at the bifurcation limit. The dynamics of the system is analyzed and the results are interpreted from a practical point of view.
