The Effect of Servant Leadership on Teacher Performance and Organizational Citizenship Behavior as Mediation Variables

Teachers are the central point of improving the quality of education, so teachers are expected to provide professional performance. Thus, this study aims to examine the effect of servant leadership on teacher performance, organizational citizenship behavior on teacher performance, servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior, and servant leadership on teacher performance and organizational citizenship behavior as a mediating variable. The research population were 200 teachers in Mamuju regency with a sample of 132 teachers. This study uses a survey quantitative research method. Data analysis in this study uses path analysis and sobel test. The results of the study discovered that there is a significant and positive effect of servant leadership on teacher performance where the value (p = 0.00), a significant and positive effect of organizational citizenship behavior on teacher performance (p =0.00), there is a significant and positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior with value (p = 0.00), and a significant and positive effect on teacher performanceand organizational citizenship behavior as a mediating variable with a value (p =0.02).Therefore, the OCB can be used as a model in strengthening servant leadership to improve teacher performance.
