Abstract
Everyday about 200 thousand births take place and it is expected that future population will reach to the mark of 10 billion in the coming 30 years. This will cause food scarcity. Thus, need for modern agriculture is a necessity. There are many issues which lead to poor production of the crops some include irregular watering, over spraying of pesticides and vice versa. These issues can easily be resolved using the drone based spraying technology. Thus, this report will present, the information about the spraying of herbicides and pesticides using drone-based technology. It will cover the areas involving crop monitoring and spraying using drone. The work related to drone structure, multiple sensor development, and programming language usage for various purpose will also be done. Effect of Artificial Intelligence and Deep learning will also be discussed in the field of crop surveillance. The Components and processing of drone will also be discussed.
Key words: Drone spraying / pesticides / artificial intelligence / crop health
