Stability Analysis of Mixing Problem with Cascading Tanks

Several cases of mixing problems which yield to a system of first order differential equations are investigated. When the perfectly mixed assumption is lifted, the model will be changed into a system of delay differential equation. The method of steps can be employed to find its solution. The behavior of the solutions is also compared to the behavior of the solution of the corresponding ordinary equations, especially its stability. The stability aspect can be analyzed by considering the solution of the characteristic equation corresponding to its system.
